Abstract:

August’s Lunchtime Session will be jointly presented by Vlad Mencl, Senior Software Engineer and Wallace Chase, Technical Engagement Manager.

The session will be focused on Tuakiri and eduGAIN, the federated identity services that simplify access to content, services and resources for the global research and education community. It will also cover the recent refresh and migration of Tuakiri on to REANNZ hardware, what’s new and what it means for our members as well as what is around the corner for Tuakiri from a technical point of view.

These services are essential to REANNZ’s offering as an NREN, as they facilitate research collaboration on a global scale. More and more service providers and journal publishers are making their resources available via eduGAIN, enabling members to have access to the world class research and tools with the security and ease of using a single set of login credentials.

After the presentation the Zoom meeting room will remain open for members that would like to ask any questions and continue the discussion with the team.
